  • aturday 4th November 2023. Note, this event is run in conjunction the Ulysses Batten Relay raising money for Cyclone Gabrielle victims. It is open to all motorcyclist's be they a Ulysses member or not. I point out it is based around Ngatea as being central to several branches in the North Island. The run is being kept short to allow entrants to ride to the start in plenty of time for breakfast and be home still for dinner. Although it started off strictly as a competitive event we have added a touring section as well so that those wanting to enjoy a ride with no hassles can do so at ease. Those in the touring section are not available for any of the prizes on offer however are expected to send there entry in just as those entering the Icons 150 challenge. Those entering the Icons 150 challenge will be given there instructions as well as there start time when they arrive at the start on the day. (Hauraki RSA 14 Pipiroa Rd Ngatea.) I will be there from 9:00am to welcome them. They will need a telephone or digital camera to photograph the Icon's, a phone or GPS to navigate their route. Note, it is not a race. When those send in there entry we will send them the bank account to put their donation in. The 26th person to put the money in the account will receive 1 years subscription to Bike Rider Magazine thanks to Paul Lance. If you require any further information you can contact yours truly on Ph: 021 701466 or Chris Brown Ph: 027 2576602
